Welcome to Hi Sammi – the site I put together because I do far too many things to keep them all on one website.
When I was a kid, I wrote an autobiography about what I wanted to be when I grew up. First of all, the autobiography was 40 pages long and I was 9 years old. Secondly, I said that I wanted to do eight different things when I grew up.
To my parents’ credit, they never discouraged me from living out this dream. So here I am, someone with my hand in just too many pots at once, but enjoying all of them far too much to quit.
Depending on where you first found me, you may know about some very different things that I do.
I’m a regular streamer on Twitch, playing video games, hosting trivia, and crafting. You can usually find me on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturday, although my schedule as of this update (June 2021) is a little hectic at the moment.
I produce two podcasts – one about The Bachelor and horror movies (and any other pop culture topics that come up), and a second about food and health and what happens at that intersection, which is an interview show. I’m just wrapping up my first season of Dairy-Free State and we just started a new season of Pop Culture Diner June 2021. Stay tuned for even more exciting episodes!
I also have a blog about living dairy-free that I started in 2013. It has over 200 posts and growing. I recently launched the podcast to go along with it, and am slowly working on some YouTube videos about my grandmother’s recipes.
I’ve been living with a chronic illness for the past 5 1/2 years. Over those years I’ve learned a thing or two about how to keep myself feeling better, and right now, I’m undergoing new treatment. I’ll be launching a blog about these topics in the coming months. If you sign up, I’ll email you once it launches. You can also check out my Instagram for some current videos.
I’m also a marketer, writer, volunteer, and proud dog mom.
Feel free to explore any of the links above, or the ones in the navigation. Soon, I’ll have short summaries about everything I do on this site! But if you have questions, don’t hesitate to reach out and email me.
About
Sometimes, it’s easier to talk about the things I don’t do than the things I do, but let’s just say I keep busy. If you want to talk to someone about writing, marketing, health & wellness, food, dairy-free living, podcasting, streaming, acting, or crafting – I’m your girl.
